Kindle for iOS, gives a Kindle HD type feel to iOS users

Kindle for iOS, gives a Kindle HD type feel to iOS users

Amazon today released a update for Kindle for iOS.  The new version 3.6 is quite similar to Kindle Fire HD.  The UI has been tweaked a bit with increased support for social networking.

In the new update once you finish reading a book, the App will ask you to share your views and write a review about the book that you have read.  You can also tell your friends to read the book if you find it absolutely unputdownable.  This feature existed in the Kindle Fire HD but was missing in the iOS version.

indle for iOS has received a neat little update that bumps it up to version 3.6 now. The updated app sports a refreshed look and an improved social connect along with other features that make using the app fun.  You can also add your favourite book to your wish list on Amazon, though you cannot make any purchases from within the App.  The finest part is that it lets the users mark up any passages with colours and codes of different shades.

You can now also fix the brightness level in the App to overide the sleeper in iOS.  This is useful especially if you are a bedtime reader.

iOS users who want to download the App can do so here at Apple  Store.  If you already have a Kindle Fire HD and want to sideload Apps on it please read this article.  Please post your comments regarding this App and share your views.
