I have noticed that whenever Whatsapp issues an update, which are quite frequent, the expiry date of the App is extended by several days. Now I have found out another way to extend to you expiry date by almost one year.
With my original SIM, the Whatsapp was supposed to expire today ie on 14.2.2013. So, I put a different SIM into my phone and registered it for Whatsapp, this was certified by Whatsapp servers and the new SIM's expiry date was given as 14.2.2014.
Now next thing I did was to insert my original SIM back into the Phone. When I started Whatsapp, it said that the phone number was not verified; should I verify it now.
I accepted the verification and than after contacting its servers, it was done. And lo and behold! my expiry date in the original SIM is extended by one whole year to 14.2.2014.
Try it out, it worked for me, maybe it will work for you as well. Though I think the company deserves the $0.99 for providing us with such a worthy App. If you want a WhatsApp like App which is free for life, go here.
Happy Valentine's Day, Don't worry about the future, enjoy the moment.
