Task Manager Note 2 Shortcut for Samsung Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III

Task Manager Note 2 Shortcut for Samsung Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III

Up until now Samsung Galaxy Note II or S III did not have a dedicated Task Manager so publisher cb56 has released a Task Manager Note 2 Shortcut App.
The description as listed by publisher on Google Play is as follows :

THIS APP IS ONLY FOR Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy S3 or other Samsung compatible devices

This is a link to the original Samsung App's icon missing on Samsung GS3 and Notes II.

If installed on compatible Samsung device (eg Galaxy S2) where the icon is already present, adds the ability to activate the Task Manager from the notification bar.

It allows you to access the Task manager through the app drawer, the homescreen and THE NOTIFICATIONS BAR without having to long-press the home button.

This application, unlike other similar, does not show the launcher shortcut in the list of applications of Samsung Task manager.

It will be also installed an HELP ICON through which YOU CAN ACTIVATE OR DEACTIVATE THE NOTIFICATION and share the app with your friends.

The donate version without pop-up is faster than the free one

This looks like a very useful App to have.  You can download it here from Google Play.  Remember this App is only for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and S III.  It may support other Samsung devices but the publisher may not have tested it on other devices.

  1. You already have this shortcut. Long press the HOME BUTTON. You can swipe to end task. Or do the same thing this app does. Its even faster than waiting for the pop up with this app.

  6. Yes sure I did look there and I see it, but as you say it is inactive from that location. I can start the Task manager with the long pressure on the Home button, but it would be more covenient with a Shortcut. And since there was one from the beginning there must be trick to get it back.
    So long regards Okami

  7. I am searching for one if I get one I will post the same. Rooting allows the shortcut but I guess you don't want to root your phone. Please subscribe to my blog feed, I will post article on shortcut as soon as possible
