Potluck supper with ladies circle
Like always Mum is stressed out
Coz her South Indian delicacy is no hit
As her Marathi friends’s taste buds are skeptical
Puliyogare is on her menu, but afraid she is
but I am with Puliyogare,
Coz tangy rice has always been a runaway hit
This time she wants to make it hit in her Marathi circle..
She all set in kitchen with gloomy mood
And I had a plan to lift her mood….
Went to the nearest mall
Started trolling in kitchenware stall
A pretty lady came for my assistance
Told her exactly about my intentions
She gave me a package with a bright smile
Back in home, aromatic tampered spices to welcome
my nostril flared up and eyes followed the aroma,
like a trained sniffer pug!
like a trained sniffer pug!
aweee, the Puliyogare smelled wonderful but looked shabby.
But I had come prepared for this situation
Mums Puliyogare just needed beautification
Smugly gave the package to my mum,
Post opening all I saw, twinkle in her eyes
Magic concoction of rightly blended spices, tamarind paste,
Jagerry and roasted peanuts just to give a right taste,
served in the Borosil glassware, made it look like a chefs special.
I served it to my Marathi friends and lo and behold
All I saw was finger lickings and sounds of lips smacking.
I was smiling silently like a cunning assassin,
for I knew how I had trapped them with my flavoursome awesome Puliyogare with Borosil glassware from myborosil.com.

Puliyogare served in Borosil glassware was double entendre for my Marathi guests.
Best of luck bro... hope you trap judges too :d
ReplyDeleteHey I gifted my mom a borosil square dish in 1990 and she still has it. Your post just took me back to my childhood.
