Bus Transit in Delhi and National Captial Region becomes easy with launch of Android App, mobile site and website

Delhi residents can now access the various routes and timings of bus routes operated by DIMTS.  DIMTS has launched a Android App, a website and a mobile website to help its users to access all information in real time.  You can also send in your feed back via a application form made available in it.

Taking a step forward towards making travelling in public transport a smoother and a more reliable experience for commuters, Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS) has launched the Delhi Transit Bus Info application. Providing vital information on the estimated time of arrival (ETA) of buses, route details, locations of bus stops, trip planner, tracking of buses on a route etc., the application will help the passenger get all the information on the click of a button, all in real time.

As of now the App is available for only Orange coloured Delhi Transit buses, except for the Trip Planner feature which also gives information about the DTC bus routes. But DIMTS has said that DTC also will be incorporated in near future and launch the Apps for other OSes also.

For non Android users, you have to head straight to DIMTS website and click on “Bus information for orange-coloured Delhi transit buses”.

“The beta version of the application is currently available for devices working on the Android platform,” DIMTS said in a statement “It will be extended to other platforms like iOS, Blackberry and Symbian.”

IF you live in the Delhi or NCR, you should have this must have App on your Android device.  To download the App please visit Google Play here.
