Clip your emails from Gmail to the Evernote now with Evernote Web Clipper for Chrome

Clip your emails from Gmail to the Evernote now with Evernote Web Clipper for Chrome

Evernote today added a feature called Evernote Web Clipper for Chrome today.   All you have do is download a simple extension for Chrome and start adding clips to notes.  The extension also features for Chrome now lets you clip your emails from Gmail too.

So the next time you receive an email you want to save as a note, all you have to do is open the email and click on the Web Clipper feature. Doing this will save the email and attachments, if any, to Evernote.  Do remember that the clipper will save only what is seen on the screen so if you want to clip the full email, be sure to expand the thread or mail.  Once the clip is  saved, you can add the clipping to your notebook, assign tags and even add a note.

The saved clipping can be accessed on Evernote as a formatted note, complete with tags. The mail's subject line will become the note's title and all email addresses of recipients can be seen near the top. For Evernote Premium users this gets even better, since they can search any attached documents, spreadsheets, presentations and PDFs.

Download the Evernote Web Clippper for Chrome extension here.
