Every home today has at least two to three smart phones + laptop + desktop (plus minus one or two) and each of these is connected to internet. Now a days there are 3G dongles. So imagine the total combined speed of Internet you are receiving at your home. Lets take it that you have two 3G enabled and activated smart phones and 3G dongle. The 3G companies claim that 3G is available at 7.2 mbps speeds but my own Airtel gives me up to 1.5 mbps in non peak time. So I will go with what I have Airtel Dongle 1.5 mbps + MTNL 3G 1.5 mbps + MTNL 3G 1.5 mbps = 4.5 mbps. Imagine I am surfing the net with only 1.5 mbps at a time when I have a quality 4.5 mbps available in the house. So how to combine all these connections into one.
First and foremost you have to purchase Connectify Dispatch software. This is available for Rs. 5,114.00 for a lifetime license or 1 year at Rs.4023.00, which includes the HotSpot Pro utility as a bundle. It is recommended to buy both Dispatch and HotSpot Pro so that you can receive the combined speed as well as share it with you family.
Once you have purchased the Application, install it. It will sit in the right side system tray. But it will not be active. Look at the images below:
Activate it and it will automatically hunt for connections. Start your smart phone hot spot. Add all connections one by one giving the SSID and pre shared key.
All active adapters will be associated with Dispatch, you click start Dispatch button on the top. Your Boost is done. Now start your HotSpot from the tray and share the combined speed with your family.
If you wish you can assign individual applications to select Internet routes. This way you can download multiple files from your favourite storage facility like Rapidshare or Mediafire or Mega.
Do try the above method. You will find that you can zoom across the Internet highway at never thought before speeds. Please post your comments regarding this article.
