Rail Rush, a Temple Run like Free game for iOS and Android

All of us are addicted to Temple Run and its 2nd sibling.  However the Rail Rush by Miniclip.com is a similar, fancier and action packed game for iOS and Android.  Whats more it is free.

Rail Rush is a new action game that has you riding in a cart through twisting, underground mines.  The game play involves you tilting your phone to avoid obstacles or pick up goodies as the cart goes deeper and deeper.  You can also switch rails, jump or duck with swipes.

It is almost similar to Temple Run, the game play develops as you go further with new paths, new characters, gems and power ups.  The object of the game is to survive the ride as long as you can dip and jump and collect the freebies.  There is also a mystery egg, which you can tap at the end of the game to give you bonus goodies in next map.

It also has  challenges like "Jump over 30 lower obstacles," "Run on the central track for 500 meters in a game" and "Enter secret level 1 time in a game."

The game is Free but mid game, it may irritate with optional purchases such as $1.99 for 1500 gold nuggets or $4.99 to buy the characters like Twinblade San and Julie Braveheart.  This seems to be the latest ploy of developers to mint money.  However avoid them and enjoy the game.
