Improve your English with you smart phone, free Dictionaries for you

If you have read my earlier blogs dated. 06.01.2013 and 8.01.2013, I am presenting today the best dictionaries available for smart phones for improving your English.

First up I will start with Symbian Phones as I have not posted any major article on Nokia for a long time.
First one is English Dictionary Free by Dictionary9.  You can download the dictionary here through Nokia Store.  The Demo version is Free.

Second one for Nokia is Dictionary + Thesaurus by Naveen CS.   You can download the dictionary here through Nokia Store.  This one is also free and I prefer this one for references.

Android :
The first one for Android is the most popular one available in market.  The ColorDict.  You can download it here from Google Play.  It is free and quite comprehensive.

Second choice for Android is Dictionary.com.  You can download the Dictionary here from Google Play.  This one is also free.

Third choice for Android is Miss Spell's Class.  It is particularly suitable for those who make common spelling mistakes.  You can download the App here from Google Play.  This is also free.

iOS
iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users have Dictionary! by Catlin Software.  You can download it here for Apple Store.  This one is free.

  2. Waste of time...it doesn't work...atleast not on my Phone (5230)
    I wonder if NOKIA check the apps before putting them up in OVI store...
    One more reason to shift to ANDROID...i think i'll be ...very soon

  4. Good, but you can't work for long time or let it be open in background while working as it closes automatically.

  5. Finally ! A great dictionary app with great UI, big range of words and pronunciation. Though it requires data connection everytime, the positives outweigh the negtives heavily.

  6. Very easy to use, no complicated key strokes, etc. The mpoints aspect is a wonderful way to keep users active. Love this app, my search for a dictionary app is over.
