This being a dedicated 'selfie' smartphone, the Nokia and Microsoft have taken the front camera level of Lumia 730 to 5MP with a f/2.4 22mm wide-angle lens. It will come with a Lumia Selfie App preloaded, that lets users tweak images with beautification effects, filters, and teeth whitening.

Other than these feature, Lumia 730 packs a punch on other fronts as well.  It will run on the latest Windows 8.1 and will get the Denim update when it’s launched. Both Lumia 730 and Lumia 735 will have a 4.7-inch HD ClearBlack OLED with a 1280×720 pixel resolution.  Both will be powered by a Snapdragon 400 SoC with the CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and the Adreno 305 GPU.  Both smartphones will carry 1GB RAM aboard and have a 8GB internal memory.  Both smartphones will support extended memory via a MicroSD slot.

On the back there’s a 6.7-megapixel rear camera with a f/1.9 lens. Design wise the Lumia 730 mirrors many of the past Lumia phones, with brightly coloured plastic shells. The battery is a 2220 mAh unit and the Lumia 730 series is compatible with wireless charging.

The smartphone will be available by Diwali this year for Indian buyers.  Below is the promo video of Lumia 735 smartphone.
