BlackBerry Z3 smart phone available for pre-order for Rs.15990.00 on Flipkart with Rs.1000.00 vouchers as freebie

Languishing smart phone maker Blackberry has launched a new smart phone with a name Blackberry Z3. The Canadian mobile maker once a top smart phone giant, is trying its best to remain relevant in the dynamic mobility market with with the Blackberry Z3. The Blackberry Z3 comes with a price tag of 15,990.00 and targeted towards mid-range consumers of India. Its launch is directly targeted at a big middle class Indian market where the current heavies like MotoG, Micromax Canvas series, Nokia Lumia rule the roost.  It would be fascinating to see if Blackberry succeeds in cracking this vast market and redeem its premier position in the mobile industry again.  Google's Moto G has gained popularity among mid-range consumers and reported an outstanding sales few days ago.  In fact Flipkart, the online retailer reportedly sold out Moto G handsets within a few hours of its online release. Considering the deeply trenched and highly popular Micromax, Moto G and Nokia handsets it would be gargantuan task Blackberry to gain popularity in this segment in India.

Z3 comes with preloaded, much popular BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) App. Other features like, its signature keyboard will offer typing even for hinglish, a localised combination of Hindi and English in daily slang for accurate touch typing. Amazon App store, which also supports the over 240,000 Android Apps will be coming soon and available after the new release of BlackBerry OS. Android Apps which can run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is also supported by the Z3 platform. Sadly Blackberry Z3 will not support Apps that require the Google play services API which means that popular Android Apps like Google maps, Gmail, Chrome etc wont be supported by Z3. This is bound to have a huge impact on potential buyers.  Z3 also has a feature of Blackberry maps designed for Indian consumers which offers 2D maps and 3D voice guiding for directions.

The Blackberry Z3 smart phone will be available in India for pre-orders through, offline the mobile stores, BlackBerry Exclusive Stores and through ecommerce merchant sites like Flipkart. In fact Flipkart is offering  a Rs.1000.00 voucher for customers pre booking Blackberry Z3.
