After announcing yesterday of the addition of many new countries like Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom, United States to offer its digital content, Google today announced its education featured Play Services.
Google Play for Education launched just to cater to the academics with a preference for kids

The Google Developers website will give your kids nice academic content on its Google Play for Education.  The website will feature all education related content under a single roof and is specifically designed with K-12 schools in mind.  The new launched Education Play Store will also offer bulk purchasing for classes and and districts.  This will be a good news both for the schools and the developers.  The schools which are located in remote areas will be able to source choicest academic material without much of a headache and the developers get a vast untapped area and a potential market.

If you are interested, you have to just sign in here and enter the glorious academic world of Google.  Google has divided the Google Play for education into two groupings for your ease.  The developers have their own section to develop or put an existing education App on the market.

Educators like schools, teachers or any institution which is interested in procuring the Apps in bulk will have to fill a expression of intent form at www.google.com/edu/android.
