Most of todays newspapers have given the information that the Government will hike the Dearness Allowance by 10 % w.e.f 1.7.2013 in this month itself. All the newspapers have mentioned that the DA orders will be issued by the month end. However with Government in a super Election mode, and that the Ganesh Chaturthi is on 9th, the Government may issue DA orders on 6th September, 2013 itself. Will keep you posted about the cabinet meeting on DA.
Read the news stories in following papers and one thing you will agree with me is that all the newspapers have given pretty much the same story, which actually means that the information was given by Government itself. That is what makes me think that the DA orders are just forthcoming on the 6th or the next Friday after that. Let us wait and see
