First of all I did like to wish all my readers (not just the Indian visitors), a very very 'Happy Independence Day' India will be celebrating its 66th Independence day and I hope that peace and progress reign supreme in its 66th year.
Well if India is celebrating its Independence, can Google stay behind. As you know India is one of the biggest Google markets for its search, maps, Apps, Android etc. So what better way then to broadcast the Indian Independence Day celebrations Live from New Delhi. Well if YouTube is broadcasting it LIVE, I am relaying it LIVE as well!
As is the protocol, Dr.Manmohan Singh, the honourable Prime Minister of India will give his Independence Day speech from the ramparts of the famous Red Fort in New Delhi. Only this time you can celebrate it with me here on my blog through YouTube.
YouTube will bring the Independence Day celebrations as well as the Prime Ministers speech live to you and to make it easier for you, I am embedding the YouTube Video which can be seen Live from 6.25 am onwards.
Remember this broadcast is being brought to you by India's premier Public Service Broadcaster, Doordarshan. A round of applause to the top honchos at DD.
In addition to above if you want to watch the Honourable President of India, Pranab Mukherjee's address to the nation on the eve of Independence, that was recorded and relayed today, you can watch it here.
