Mega clone site mega-search.me appears out of blue

Just when the dust regarding Mega launch of cloud storage facilities break downs and hacking had settled, Mega is experiencing a new kind of trouble.

Third party clones like mega-search.me have sprung up to take advantage of the Mega's huge storage capacity directly linking the file to the Mega's download page.    This clone looks like a search site but gives you latest files which are available  for download on the home with a huge window for search.  The site is also available in different languages with a option to add your own links to the site.

The Mega's Blog states that 

"However, it has come to MEGA's attention that there are micro search engines that use our (M) logo and other MEGA branding without authorization. Worse, such site(s) were reported in a highly publicized manner and purport to be globally available search engines, but don't have their own DMCA takedown policy or registered DMCA agent"

But contrary to news reports regarding blocking of mega-search.me, the site mega-search.me is still alive and kicking.  When I visited the home page of the site and clicked a download, I was given a Captcha Code.  After filling the code, I was straight away taken to the Mega's site hosting that file with option of Download/Import.   When I accepted the TOS of Mega, the file started downloading without any glitch.  

There appears to a discrete link between the two sites contrary to what the Mega's Blog says.
