All of you out there planning to buy a tablet may kindly wait till the first quarter of 2013. The tablet market is hotting up and Acer has announced a Tablet just for emerging markets.
The tablet war is indeed hotting up with Acer announcing Iconia B1 tablet for $99 which comes to roughly Rs.5500.00. This tablet is likely to be launched by Acer in 2013 will feature 1.2 GHz processor, pack a 7.1 inch display and have a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels which is similar to Amazon's Kindle Fire.
Acer is a leader in the laptop market and by launching Iconia B1 it will try to breach the tablet industry long reigned by Samsung and Ipad.
It is prudent for us to wait just a little while for a no holds barred price war between the tablet companies, which will in the end leave us consumers with cheaper products. You can also read about the launch of Nexus 7 in India here.
